At Morada Mermaid, we're happy to welcome guests with service animals. A service animal is a dog that has been individually trained to perform specific tasks to assist a person with a disability. These tasks must be directly related to the person's disability. Under the ADA, animals whose roles are limited to providing emotional support, comfort, therapy, or companionship are not considered service animals.
Guests must keep their service animal with them and under control at all times. Because of the nature of our tours, both the guest and their service animal may need to remain on the boat for the full duration of the trip. This helps ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone on board, including your service animal, our crew, other guests, and the incredible Florida Keys wildlife we encounter along the way.
