Our boats are the heart of every Mermaid adventure. Each one was chosen and outfitted so your day on the water is comfortable, spacious and easy, with plenty of shade, cushioned seating and toys to keep the whole family happy from the moment you step aboard.
Marathon Mermaid
Built from the ground up, the “Marathon Mermaid” is truly a one of a kind boat, the only one like it in the world. She is the fastest, newest and most comfortable boat in Marathon, custom designed for the way we like to spend a day on the water: relaxed, spacious and ready for anything.
With a large shaded area and all cushioned seating, there is room for the whole family to spread out. A bathroom onboard means you never have to cut the day short, and our kayaks, paddleboards, lily pad and water toys turn every sandbar stop into a playground. She carries our guests out to Sombrero Reef, the local sandbar and the Seven Mile Bridge at sunset.
Morada Mermaid
Morada Mermaid is the newest member of the Mermaid fleet, running snorkeling, sandbar days and sunset cruises from Islamorada. She brings the same comfort and care our guests know from Marathon to an entirely different stretch of the Florida Keys, home to the legendary Alligator Reef and the crystal-clear Islamorada sandbar.
Like her sister, Morada Mermaid is set up for an easy, spacious day on the water with shaded seating, water toys and everything you need for the reef and the sandbar. One local family, two beautiful parts of the Keys.

Set up for an easy day
We want every guest to relax and enjoy the water, so both Mermaids are set up with your comfort and safety in mind. Check-in starts 30 minutes before departure, giving us time to get you settled before we leave the dock. Once you are aboard, the shade, cushioned seating and bathroom onboard mean you can stay out and make the most of the day.
We bring light snacks, water and soda, and all of the snorkel equipment, kayaks, paddleboards, water toys, noodles and a large lily pad mat come with us to the reef and the sandbar. On snorkel trips, for safety reasons, guests do need to know how to swim to get in the water. If you forget your reef-safe sunscreen, we will provide some, because keeping these waters healthy matters to us as much as it does to you.
