We start all check-ins 30 minutes prior to departure. You must be at the dock no later than 15 minutes before check-in or we may not allow you on the charter and no refund will be given.
We provide light snacks, water and soda. On sunset cruises we serve champagne to guests 21 and older, along with music for a relaxing evening on the water.
Pretty much anything you would bring to the beach: sunglasses, a hat, a towel, reef safe sunscreen (or we will provide you with some), a jacket in case you get cold, a reusable water bottle and any food you would like to bring.
Yes, however we do not allow any glass or hard liquor to be brought onboard. Canned beers and seltzers are acceptable.

Captain Dawn and First Mate Brandon are THE BEST!!! We took the sunset cruise for our son's 12th birthday and let me tell you, what an adventure! We encountered a storm and Captain Dawn remained calm and got us back to shore safe and sound, while still having a great time! We can't wait to take another cruise with Marathon Mermaid!
We loved our sunset cruise. First mate Brandon and Capt Doug showed us all a great time with champagne and stories. The best part, so many dolphins swimming along in front of the boat, everyone got pictures! We look forward to next time when we take their snorkel trip!
The 2 women who ran the boat were wonderful. They were knowledgeable and informative, engaging with the guests, and entertaining as well! The champagne flowed! There were 14 guests on the sunset cruise which made for friendly conversation. The sunset was spectacular! It was a wonderful way to spend the evening. We will definitely use Marathon Mermaid in the future!!
Just left our Sunset Cruise and it was the BEST water experience we've had so far! Our captain was Katie and our Champagne Fairy was Allison. They felt like friends and hosted an amazing cruise. We had beautiful weather and learned some cool facts about the Keys. This experience is a must and we can't wait to book more adventures with them!
We had the absolute pleasure of going on a sunset cruise with Captain Bill and First Mate Mandy. We had a wonderful time with Mandy sharing so many interesting facts. At one point we were joined by some dolphins, and Captain Bill and Mandy made sure we got to fully enjoy the experience and still see our beautiful sunset. This is a highly recommended, must do if you are in Marathon or nearby!
Took our kids (ages 10, 9, and 7) on the sunset cruise. Staff provided snacks, music, drinks, champagne and entertainment. Very fun, knowledgeable and friendly crew! Would 10/10 recommend for families, couples, groups of all ages. Something for everyone and very accommodating.
